Remrise Overview and Review

Remrise wants you to know that they are here to help you sleep.

The company was born out of frustration with the sleep aids being offered by doctors and over-the-counter. Their beef with common sleep aids was that while they helped you sleep, they often left you feeling groggy and hungover the next day. Plus, they just kind of slapped a band-aid on the problem without addressing the underlying issue.

Remrise offers sleep supplements that are all natural and sourced from only the highest quality herbs from trustworthy partners. Remrise worked with a team of advisors and traditional Chinese medicine practitioners to create their sleep formulas. They claim that their supplements will transform your sleep.

I have been struggling with my sleep for about a year now. I am so tired by 8:00 p.m. that I usually go to bed. Then I fall asleep right away but always wake up in about two hours. Then I struggle to fall back to sleep. And every night around 3:30 a.m. I wake up feeling wide awake and usually just get out of bed at 4:00 a.m. It's frustrating because I know how important sleep is for your mental health and overall well-being. Plus, I am missing hang time with my husband after my kids go to bed at 8:00 p.m. And honestly, I miss him.

I have taken sleep aids in the past and while they worked really well, I hated how they made me feel the next day. So I stopped using them. I have tried melatonin but it doesn't seem to help to keep me asleep, which is truly what I need.

I first saw Remrise as an ad on Instagram. They were advertising one free trial week of their supplements so that you could try them out before committing to their service. After checking out their website, I decided to go for it. There wasn't much to lose with a free trial. Well, sort of free. I had to pay $4.99 for shipping.

The first thing you need to do when signing up for their service is to take their "Sleep Quiz." Remrise offers five different formulations and the quiz helps determine which will be the most beneficial to you. I was assigned the "At Ease" formula which promises to "put your mind and body at supreme ease so you can heal your body's ability to rest well." The key ingredients for the At Ease formula are Ginseng, Schisandra and Spirit Poria. At Ease addresses restlessness, waking up in the middle of the night or too early. Sounds perfect for me.

Like I mentioned earlier, I was offered a free one week trial (after $4.99 shipping charge) but I can't seem to find a code for that offer to share with you. The same promo might be extended to all first time customers after they sign up but I'm just not sure. However, Remrise is currently offering 50% off your first month by using code SLEEPOVER. (As of the date of this post.) The monthly cost is usually $55.00 a month and if I decide to continue with the service I will fully expect to be charged that much before my first shipment ships out. You are billed monthly and can cancel at anytime. You can also change your billing date to better suit your financial situation.

So did Remrise come through on it's promise to help me sleep better starting on night one? Let's discuss.

My Remrise trial came packed in a fancy box that contained an informational packet and a tiny box containing 7 sachets of supplements. Each day contains 4 pills that you take all at the same time, one hour before you go to bed. The pills are pretty standard in size and do not have a taste or smell. I did not experience any ill effects after taking them.

So let me just start out by saying that my expectations were low. I fully realize that I have insomnia and that Remrise isn't magic, it's a supplement. I honestly didn't have high hopes that these supplements would transform my sleep. During my trial week, I kept close track of my sleep with my Fitbit. I paid attention to what time I went to bed, when I woke up at night and when I eventually woke up completely. I also noted my total hours of sleep.

I was pleasantly surprised at my results! Almost every night that I took Remrise I only woke up once, very briefly around 2:00 a.m. and was able to fall right back asleep. No up at 3:00 a.m., tossing and turning only to give up at 4:00 a.m. and wake up. I was able to sleep until 5:00 a.m. -5:30 a.m. which I realize is still early, but it is way later for me.

So I would say that it looks like Remrise actually improved the quality of my sleep. I was almost sleeping through the night which is something I haven't done in a very long time. I did end up cancelling my subscription for now though since $55.00 a month just isn't currently in my budget. But I would consider reactivating it in the future. I would also highly recommend Remrise to anyone looking to improve their sleep.
