So, Silk + Sonder is a subscription service that sends you a new planner every month. It's like getting a fresh new start every month! Each "issue" contains pages filled with productivity and planning, introspection, mindfulness and lifestyle content.

The folks behind Silk + Sonder wondered why we only give ourselves one time a year to reset and restart. We are always so eager to make New Year resolutions at the start of every January, but what about setting goals in May? Why do we only get one shot to set intentions and set gials? Why cant we have a fresh start every month?

• After failing at trying to commit to ordinary yearly planners and diaries, the creators of Silk + Sonder decided to create the product of their dreams- a planner that reflects amazing art, design and travel while combining formulas for productivity, passion and focus. These books are hand-crafted, thoughtfully designed and delivered to your door every month.

For anyone curious about what the word "sonder" means, it is a newly minted word that describes the profound feeling of realizing that everyone, including strangers, has a life as complex as one's own, which they are constantly living despite one's personal lack of awareness of it. So basically, everyone in the world is living their own life even if it doesn't intersect with your own. Pretty clever for a planner brand to use in their name isn't it?

Every month Silk + Sonder will send you the latest issue of their monthly planner. Each month's planner will always include the same framework, introspection and articles that are aligned with a theme, but the aesthetic will change every month. You can expect your planner to arrive 2-5 days before the first of the month. That way, you wont miss a single day of planning. However, in order got your shipment to arrive on time, you will need to place your order before the 15th of the current month. You will still receive a shipment is you order after the 15th, you just wont get it before the beginning of the next month.

Each book measures 7" x 8.5" and will always contain some of the following:

• monthly and weekly intentions, habit trackers and calendar spreads
• prompts to inspire mindfulness
• articles and content that features food, design and travel
• much more to empower you to live your unique life

You can cancel your subscription at any time, and as long as you cancel before the 15th of the month, you will not be charged for the upcoming month.

Subscriptions are available by month or by the year. The month-to-month subscriptions are $19.95/month. The annual subscription is $160.00/ a year. Silk + Sonder currently only ships within the United States.

After glancing over their Instagram page, I can confidently tell you that their planners are just gorgeous. Very floral but modern. Classic with a touch of whimsy. Silk + Sonder generously sent me one of their February planners to try out and review. The planner is seriously beautiful in person and I am super impressed with it's contents.

 

The cover was floral like I described and the pages are nice and thick. This isn't a flimsy planner. On the first page there is a handy table of contents. There are so many neat features in this planner. Things like a self-love tree, recipes and a mood tracker. That is in addition to the weekly calendars and four-month future log.
