Gr8ness

I recently stumbled upon a website that offers a lot of resources that were designed to help manage mental health. Gr8ness is "all about the never-ending journey of self-care." Their goal is to create a self-care community resource to help users learn what self-care means to other people and create a personalized approach to their own self-care practice.

Gr8ness collects and creates content that focuses on the latest self-care topics. Their panel of experts also critique the self-care focused articles on Gr8ness to give you a better understanding of the content that is available out there. Users will be able to determine what is actual science and what is opinion or thought.

Gr8ness has partnered with Perrigo, a leading global consumer self-care company.

Gr8ness outlines thier values as:

"We have one guiding principle: truth. We will provide you with honest, expertley curated and reviewed information on all things self-care in an open, supportive, ad-free environment. And we'll never tell you what you should or shouldnt do with any of that information-except right here, right now. Strive for Gr8ness."

Their panel of experts are recognized leaders in their fields. These experts were gathered by Gr8ness to offer their professional opinion on topics related to their fields. You can meet the experts here

So what can you find on Gr8ness? Let's explore. There are five categories to browse:

  • Self-Care
  • Mind
  • Body
  • Soul
  • Life
Each category offers sub-categories to choose from. Once you select your category and sub-category, you will ne presented with numerous articles relating to that specific topic.

For example:

I chose Self-Care from the main category then Self-Care again from the sub-categories. The page I was taken to showed me endless articles targeted towards self-care.

Once you get to the article, you will notice a "Gr8ness Rating" at the top of the article. This is where you will see how the Gr8ness experts rated the article. The posts are short and sweet, but super informative. I prefer my articles in bite size chunks anyway.

You can also sign up for an account which allows you to save article for later or because you found them to be useful. You will also be put on their email list so you will get regular updates on their new articles and news.

Overall, the website is fun and informative. It's truly a great resource for all things self-care related.

You can visit Gr8ness here, and be sure to pop over to their socials on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest.
