Hello Friends,
It is the start of a new week and boy do I have some news for you! I have had a rough couple of weeks. I have been very depressed and quite honestly, a lump. I did not want to get out of bed for anything and slept for what seemed like days. My family is very supportive of my mental health, so they encouraged me to listen to my body and get the rest that I needed which was lovely. Then, out of nowhere, I had three, back-to-back anxiety attacks. I haven't had an anxiety attack in a long time, so this took me by surprise. So my extreme depression and anxiety attacks inspired me to make an emergency appointment with my psychiatrist. Working together, we decided to explore the fact that I might have bipolar 2. I seem to have extreme highs where I am very productive and enjoy life, that are followed by extreme lows where I hate everything and cannot muster up the strength to function as an adult human. I started a new medication and I am happy to report that after a week of continued problems, I feel much better now. I feel like I can do things again. I feel like reading and writing and creating. I'm scared it wont last long but I'm chugging along doing what I can, listening to my body and trying my best to love myself. That's all I can do.
So with that announcement out of the way let's move on to my next announcement: the giveaway winner. My giveaway had a better turnout than I expected and I just want to thank everyone that participated. Your support means the world to me. Without you this blog is nothing. So thank you.
There is one small problem. I am having a hard time accessing the results of the giveaway but have put in a support request with Rafflecopter so hopefully it will be resolved quickly. Once it is I will announce the winner. Sorry guys. Technology sucks sometimes. I'll let you know as soon as I know!
