Guided Journals
Journaling is so beneficial to your overall well-being. It can boost you mood, reduce your anxiety and even improve your memory. Journaling can also help you cope with tough times in a more constructive way.
But starting a journal practice can feel very overwhelming. You may not know where to start when you are looking at a blank page. That is where guided journals swoop in to save the day.
Guided journals are journals that contain writing prompts to reflect on and explore your emotions and your creativity. They take the guesswork out of journaling. There are so many guided journals on the market right now ranging from funny to daily questions to gratitude focused. Some take a deep dive into self-exploration, while others give you the opportunity to be really creative. Whatever your interest is, there is sure to be a guided journal for it.
Choosing a guided journal is a very personal thing. It all boils down to your personality and what you want to work on. Amazon and Barnes and Noble are great places to shop for guided journals.
I have a regular journaling practice that I keep in a regular blank journal that I write in everyday. However, since I have recently started this self-exploration journey, I have been using some guided journals, kind of like workbooks. Below I will share which ones I am using. But I really want to know which guided journal you are using or love. Let me know.
The Self-Love Journal by Leslie Marchand, LCSW
The goal of this guided journal is to help "banish self-doubt and learn to love yourself." I love the way this journal is set up. It is filled with inspiring quotes, though provoking journal prompts and mindfulness exercises. The content is all based in positive psychology, mindfulness and other effective methodologies. I don't use it everyday, but I save it for when I feel like I need some extra care, love and exploration.

A Mindful Year-365 Thoughtful Writing Prompts
This journal offers 365 writing prompts to help you navigate and reflect in your year. Using this journal has helped me to acknowledge my thoughts and feelings, and the simple and straightforward questions are so interesting. This guided journal is an amazing therapeutic tool that can be used daily or on an as needed basis. I use it the same way as I use the self-love journal, when I feel like I need an extra self-care boost.

The Wild Unknown Journal by Kim Krans
From the creator of The Wild Unknown Tarot comes this real treat of a journal. To be quite honest with you, it is fucking awesome. This is a guided creativity journal where the author has drawn something on each page and then you add whatever you want to it. It's like a collaboration. It has really helped me to uncover my creative self. I cannot express how much I adore this journal.
