Hey friends.
Last week I started therapy again. I had my first appointment on Wednesday and it went really well. It was just the initial "getting to know you" session so really it was just informational. But my new therapist is very nice and I am excited to see where my therapy journey takes me.
I am also continuing to practice as much self-care as possible in an effort to break out of this depressive state that I am in. I have been doing a lot of reading and writing and have been dabbling in art. I saw my psychiatrist last week too and after discussing my current symptoms and researching clinical trials, we have decided to give my new medication vraylar three more weeks to show improvement. According tot he clinical trials, people who were on my dose started to feel better after 6 weeks. I'm only on week three. So fingers crossed that these meds work.
This week stay tuned for some great mental health posts and another giveaway! I'm so excited to share that one with you!
