Witchcraft Way Ostara Box
Ostara falls on the first day of spring, which is on or around March 21st every year. As an equinox, it is a time of perfect balance between the light and the dark. During Ostara, the day and the night are of equal length. Nature is really beginning to bloom, emerging from the winter to bring life to the world once again.
Witchcraft Way released a special edition Ostara box earlier this month and I knew that I had to have it as soon as I heard about it. Mine arrived a week or so ago, before Ostara, so I was able to enjoy everything in the box in the spirit of Ostara. Here is what was inside:
Flower Petal Cards
A set of 40 inspirational mini-cards with lovely reminders of ife's beauty through the hidden messages of flowers. This set has become a beloved part of my tarot and oracle card collection. I use them during my morning reading ritual.
Eir Incense
In Norse mythology, Eir is a goddess-valkyrie associated with healing. This incense inspires growth and healing during Ostara. It smells really good. Very earthy. I have been using these sticks during my meditation sessions.
Ostara Perfume Oil
Spring gardenias, heather and lavender mingle with fresh grass and organic linens. This might be my favorite item from the box. It smells amazing. Like someone literally bottled a sunny, warm spring day. I'm in love.
Moss Agate and Tourmaline Bracelet
This empowering bracelet is the perfect embodiment of the spiritual aspects of growth, fertility and the promise of a new and brighter day. The Moss Agate, Smoky Quartz and Black Tourmaline is such a pretty combination and looks lovely on my wrist.
Ostara Egg Candle
The egg represents the promise of new life and new potential. I received a pink egg in my box. I haven't used it yet, but I am looking forward to charging it with my intention and burning it.
Ostara Casting Herbs
Hand-blended Calendula, Rose Petals, Hibiscus and fragrant lavender come together with the deep intention that you will come alive this spring to be expansive and exuberant now and in the coming months.
There was also a card included that outlines a simple Ostara ritual which was really helpful.
I loved everything in this box and am now considering signing up for the Witchcraft Way monthly subscription box. If they are anything like the Ostara box, I know that they will contain very special treasures.
